Mozart, Beethoven, Liberace, Logan, Karli and Madison

A fine Saturday afternoon for a Piano Recital.
Logan's quick exit after performing "Boom ain't it Great to be Crazy"

Karli's exit after a rousing rendition of "Robot"

And lastly Maddy leaving the stage as she performs her series of songs.

Commander-in-Chief

Rio Rancho was graced by a visit from President Obama as he conveined upon Rio Rancho High School to discuss the need for consumer protection from Credit Card practices. Ironically the President who garners high approval ratings was greeted by more protesters than supporters.
This lady must be one of those mean rich people who hates paying her fair share of taxes (or a hard working American who hates to see her money taken away to support those who are less hard working) depends on how you see it I guess. Most of the signage amongst the protestors clearly opposed the looming tax hikes to pay for all of the bailouts and big government coming our way.
Flip the sign around and it's basically the same message with a different spin.

What appears to be snipers on "Loma Colorado" ensuring the safety of this Country's President.

Thanks for the visit President Obama.

Leader of the Pack

Tommy proudly displays his award as Leader of the Pack in his class. Yeah Tommy!

Maddy's Big Day

Family is all together for Maddy's big day. She's getting Baptized!

I mean seriously......Is there anything cuter?

A brief pep talk before the event.

All White!

Yeah Maddy....We are so proud of you!

Friends Trip - Destination San Diego

Ok....Quiztime.....Where is the coolest place to be in California?
If you guessed Riverbank you were close, but you would be wrong. Of course it's San Diego. Good food, good weather, good beaches and this time Good Friends!

Warner, Skinner and Miyakawa at the beach.

Naoki, Rex and Landon are looking around for the Credit Cards, but they're in San Diego too!
See ya'll next year.

Walt Disney - Cryogenically Frozen for Now

Karli and her classmate Tessa present their report on the life and accomplishments of Walt Disney. Their performance landed them an invite to State to present their work. Yeah Karli and Tessa.

Rock Band II Extreme

How do you get your backyard loaded with maniacs like this thinking they are at a rock concert?

Or better yet, how do you draw out some of the hottest "groupies" in the ward to come to your backyard concert?

Or, how do you take a normally mild mannered mother of 1 and convert her into Eddie Van Halen instantly?

Here is how you do it; You take a 96" projector screen with a projector hooked up to an amplifier along with two 500 watt speakers. Introduce that setup to RockBand II on your PSIII and voila it's a concert in your backyard. If it's too loud your too old!!!! (sorry neighbors, Justin Allred is just finding his groove).

CJ Wilson had to get in on the act for sure. Closet Rock Star!

More rockin in Skinner Ampitheatre!!!

No One Disturb Kristin.....She's in Rock Nirvana!!!!

Poor Quality Photos - High Quality Memories

AF1 in Phoenix back in February. Memo to President Obama - Quit your complain and blame game on the prior administration. You begged for the job in November now act like you want it. It really lacks class when you complain as much as you do. I don't remember W. complaining about the recession he inherited from Clinton.

Memorial Day Fun - What a brilliant idea. Sun comes out and you tell the kids how fun it would be to put on their swimsuits and wash the car. GET BACK TO WORK KARLI AND QUIT LOOKING AT THE CAMERA!

Logan....Good Eye! Here Logan takes a walk with bases loaded....Result is a RBI in a hotly contested game against rival Thunder Bolts.

Shhhhhh.....Kristin doesn't know it but I've snapped a pic of her shortly after she has come out of anastesia while getting her wisdom teeth extracted.....No more wisdom!

While riding out in the desert, Maddy and I found this sandstone cliff. Dad thought it would be cool if I carved Maddy's sweet name into the side of the cliff. Went back later but could not find the spot.

Maddy just loves to go quad riding with her dad. Perhaps her favorite thing to do other than High School Musical III (see below). Dad is kind of fond of the trips to the west mesa as well.

Maddy and Daddy ridding on their quad
Aren't they just two peas in a pod
Maddy hold on tight, we're gonna hit the gas
jump a tree, do a donut, kick some ___!!!

Little Kathleen Robinson in our ward sought out Tommy to help her in the 3 Legged Race at the ward party. She picked right as her and Tommy won the heat. What a cute little couple of racers! Is this a future wedding picture?

Drive Home.....No Pillow......Dead Tired......Right arm will have to do!

A visit in December to John's gravesite. We miss you Dad!!!!!

Logan's Spelling Bee. The boy tried his best but got tripped up on mohair......His attempt: mohare. Akela would have got it.

Logan at an awards ceremony for Boy Scouts. Logan continues to work hard in his scouting with an eventual goal to become Eagle. Go Logan!

Maddy ready to cheer on the performers at High School Musical on Ice.

While Maddy Cheers, Karli is going to break out and dance to the choreograph the dancers instruct to. Go Karli.

Tommy showing that he's all cleaned up from his Ribs Experience at Chili's.

Meanwhile, Mom and Boys are at Chilis......Logan here approves of the Ribs. Logan likes Ribs......mmmmmmm Ribs.

Tommy gettin BiZay on the corn. See the ribcount in the basket?

Dad hanging out with his girls couldn't pass on this photo op with the best dancer in the house!

Karli breaking off her cheer!

Cheering in unison. Come out Performers!

The two hottest girls at the whole arena showing off some of their HSM on Ice Pride!

Rio Rancho's Finest......Santa Ana Star center, newly constructed arena in North Rio Rancho.

December game between the Suns and the Nuggets. Suns win...Suns Win. (although doesn't change the fact that one team became a lottery team and the other is still alive in the playoffs).

Tommy and "Bumpy Silky" (Tommy's best friend) at the ASU v. Georgia game. See earlier post that speaks to the failures of a father as Tommy was cheering for Georgia.

Besides riding Quads, Maddy loves to go to Breakfast with her Dad. Here we are at Einstein Bagels on ASU's campus the morning of the ASU v. Georgia game. If you haven't tried the chocolate chip coffee cake at Einsteins, you haven't lived in my opinion.

Dad and boys ready for the ASU v. NAU game. Go ASU!!!!!
