Rock of Ages

For family night last week we went to Stonehenge, a hollowed out old factory that some rock-climbing enthusist and his wife converted into an ascenders paradise. Landon and I went climbing on a date a few weeks back and loved our experience. As we are both impulse shoppers, we decided to purchase a family pass right there and then. The kids loved it, and we've been back a few times. The facility has multiple climb stations that range in skill level from the novice to the Sir Edmund Hillary's of the world. The different climbs also range in height from 10 feet to about 30+ feet. All the kids mastered the 20ft. ascents, but that wasn't enough for Maddy (a natural). She had to conquer the 30ft. monolith and "ring the bell" (an activity exclusive to those who can complete the 30ft. climb). The kids are easily talked into return visits, as you can imagine.
