One expensive smile

Logan got braces last week. For the first few days he only ate Cream of Wheat and Top Ramen mashed up really small because his teeth hurt so bad. It is amazing how fast his teeth have moved. As you can see in the picture, there is a big space between his 2 front teeth. Last week those 2 teeth overlapped each other a little. He has a pallet expander on the roof of his mouth that we have to tighten twice a day so he talks with a minor lisp but it improves everyday.

Oh Baby! I remember having that done and thinking that the palet spreader was a mid evil design of adolecent torcher designed only to inflict the most amount of pain possible to keep my mouth shut. Hang in there Logan it is worth it! And maybe you could talk yourway into the soothing magic of Ice Cream!

Ouch! I can't wait till my kids need them. Maddi will be soon. The trees look beautiful. Spring is definitely not here. We had a little bit of snow the other day. I'm enjoying wearing sweaters and scarves in March. Something I could never do in Arizona!

Arguably one of the most valuable investments one can make! I am glad that the six skinners aren't writing a page in "The Big Book of British Smiles" - see the following link if that didn't make sense: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGjNl1UxYiQ&feature=related

It sounds like we need to start saving for dental work in addition to college, missions and weddings! Good luck Logan! You are on your way to having the million dollar smile I always wanted!
