We finally finished our back yard. Landon did a great job designing the layout and our friend Justin Allred put the work in motion. Here are some pictures of the finished project.
Instead of doing real grass, we did SynLawn. We are trying to do our part to Go Green (not really but it sounds good). We don't have to mow or water this grass and it is green all the time. We love it. The best part is that Lulu won't go pooh on it either. For some reason she will only pooh on the curbing around the grass.
Landon and Justin designed the built in natural gas grill too.
This little gated area is where my garden will someday be.
Yes our side fences are really short and it makes for awkwardness when the neighbor is outside at the same time as us. It does make it easier for me to be a nosey neighbor though.

Looks great! Can Landon do the same for our back yard? The lid just broke off our grill, so it's time for a new one.
Wow! That looks awesome! You need a hot tub out there now! Can we come over for a barbecue?
those little fences would put a damper on my sunbathing activities (if you catch my drift). way to go green. hopefully you don't get any fake gophers burrowing in your lawn.
Looks awesome, Someday I would like to have a garden too.
The yard looks great. I would miss mowing the lawn though. Lulu not poopin on it makes up for not getting to mow. Carl just broke out a bunch of concrete in our yard to plant a garden, he has forgotton I have 2 black thumbs.
That's some pretty looking grass! My only question, the dog doesn't poop on it but does it get smelly from pee??
You have the perfect yard for chillin' and grillin'!!!! Now to bar-b-que or not to bar-b-que is the question.....
♥ your yard...it is gorgeous!!!! Not sure about the short fences?????
Your backyard looks awesome! I especially love your outdoor furniture - it is truly an outdoor living space now. You can tell I watch HGTV, can't you? I am very impressed with the built in BBQ as well. It looks perfect for parties and get togethers. Enjoy!
Your yard looks great. I know some people back in Mesa would freak out about those low fences. Makes your yard look bigger.
