Happenings

I have been a bad blogger lately. My family keeps telling me I need to update my blog and my response to them is, "the blog is dead to me."

I really should update it more. So here are a few things we have been doing.

Logan went on the stake pioneer trek. A twelve mile hike pushing and pulling a hand cart and doing all things pioneer style. Landon also attended the trek, but he was on the food committee and got to sleep in a cozy trailer.

Aunt Colleen came to visit and she spoiled the girls with pedicures but not before Collen and I went and got pedicures ourselves. Colleen kept the kids entertained while I studied. Lots of games were played. Landon even took Collen and the kids to the Hot Springs.

Tommy had a birthday. He is now 6 and ready to start the first grade. Why do I feel old?

We took a trip to Arizona to see Jay and Kendra get sealed in the temple and bless their baby.
Grandma and Grandpa Skinner were kind enough to have us over for some RIBS!!! Logan loves Grandpa's ribs, as we all do.
Fathers Day. Fathers day was tough. I miss my Dad so much. We stopped by my Dad's grave site on the way home.

Need a babysitter? Karli turned 12. Landon and I broke down and got Karli a Guinea Pig "Lily" for her birthday. I got braces. I will have them on for a year to prepare for Orthognathic surgery and then I will wear them for another year while things heal.

Sorry for the bad picture. I stole it off the kids cell phone. It's the only picture I could find.

Good to see that you're alive. As usual, you are always busy with everything going on. You look "cute" with braces! :-)

Good to see Landon. I was wondering if school was taking up your time. Karli 12 and Tommy 6. They are like weeds!

Hey, I found your blog!! I noticed a post where you mentioned getting your braces on. When did you get them? Mine have been on Since May of 2008 and I just now had my surgery. My teeth weren't even very crooked at all either! Sure is a pain wearing them but its going to be well worth it in the end!! I wanted to let you know I posted my braces/oral surgery experience on our family blog if you want to read about it. www.thurgoodzoo.blogspot.com That is so neat that we have the same exact Dr.'s!!
