The dirty boy you see here has just returned from his first official overnighter as a boy scout. The troop took a trip to Moaning Caverns in the gold country. What do you do at this mecca of stalagtites and stalagmites? You sign up for a rappel, and then moan about why you ever did. The highlights of Logan's trip included a 160 foot rappel into a pitch dark cavern. Some of his leaders shared how frightening the activity was, and how brave Logan was in going through with it. Then the boys went through a special cave crawl. By all accounts most of us would have to go on Jenny Craig for 6 months to be able to fit in these tight spaces. (not for the clostrophobic). After these two feats of bravery, the boys ascended to the surface and exchanged a series of high fives.
All in all, Logan had a great time and is grateful for his leaders and the memorable time he had.

scott said that rappel thing would have creeped him out and he is a scout leader and loves doing that kind of stuff..so way to go logan! tommy needs to come and play at our house because we LOVE uno too!
