Karli wanted to share what she is doing in school. She has to do a report on Gerald Ford. Not only does she have to right a report on Gerry but she has to create a hand puppet (no paper bags aloud) and do a 2-3 minute oral report holding the puppet and talking in first person as if she were Gerald Ford. Do teachers honestly think that the students are going to do this on their own. It is more work for the parents than the students. So, being the not so crafty person that I am, I recruited my friend Lorilee to help me create Gerald as a puppet. I will just be honest with you all right now......Lorilee pretty much did the whole puppet herself. I can't seem to sew a straight line so she took over and did a fantastic job. Karli loves it. I see an A+ in her future.

That is one cool puppet Karli. It is so good to have resourcful moms with creative and crafty friends! The best I would of done is a old sock with yarn and markers, only because paper bags were not allowed cuz I could of made a mean paper bag Pres. Ford. Love you!
