Logan and Karli started school today. They will be attending Eagle Ridge Middle School together. Karli is in the 6th grade and Logan is in 7th grade. They were both nervous about starting a new school but earlier in the week I took them to the school and we did a self guided tour to get them familiar with the layout of the building. Logan and Karli both said their school was so cool because everything was indoors. All the classes lead to the hallway and they aren't used to that since we have only lived in hot climates and never had to worry about the snow. They are so excited to get their very own lockers for the first time.
After finishing our self guided tour, Karli said she wasn't nervous anymore. She was so excited to start school even though she was less then happy that the school was semi-uniform. They can only wear a handful of different solid colored shirts which cannot be t-shirts. Polo's, henley's, and button up shirts only. Logan said ERMS reminded him of the school on Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide on Nickelodeon.

Maddi starts middle school on the 25th. I wish there was some sort of uniform. School shopping would be much easier. They look cute and "cool" on their first day of school!
They are both so big. Good luck Logan and Karli, have an awesome year.
