We celebrated Karli's birthday in July. After driving through the night, from Arizona, and arriving home at 2:30am on the 14th we had Karli's party on the same day at 11am. I peeled my half dead body from my cozy bed to begin preparations for her luau themed party. Since Landon didn't go with us to Arizona he stayed back home and did all the pre-prep work for the party. He bought the hotdogs, watermelon, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream cake (Karli's favorite) amoung other things. The kids swam, ate, and danced through out the whole party. The party was a hit and our big girl is 10 years old. On her actual birthday her Daddy made her favorite dinner for her, Penne Chicken Alfredo. YUM!
