On Saturday I took the kids to the library to check out some books. Tommy checked out the book, Amelia Bedelia. It was a book on tape. You know, the ones where the lady reads a page and you follow along and turn the pages when you hear the chime.
Well we got in the car and I popped the tape in and the kids began following along (this is the quietest they have ever been in the car. Note to self: GET MORE BOOKS ON TAPE). After the story was over I said to the kids, "When mommy was little she loved Amelia Bedelia books". To that, Logan responded by saying and being totally serious, " Those books are that old".
What the......? You would have thought I said, when grandma was little.....! UUUUUGGGGHHHH! Really, I am not that old. Or am I?

Not old, just distinguished. My favorite books were Miss Nelson is missing. My kids love them, they really don’t understand time yet so I don’t have to worry about comments, yet.
