Well......Logan had his first soccer game of the season on Saturday & seeing that his second game is tomorrow I felt I better post about it today before I get too far behind. Logan played defense the whole game. His team won 5-1. We played against former teammates so it felt good to win. Logan's team scored all five goals in the first half and the other team had zero at half time. The referee came over to our side of the field at half time and told our Coach that if our team sores another goal the game will be over. Some silly 6 goal rule the league abides by. In my head I am thinking, let's get that last goal and be done with it, after all it's hot and I am tired. Well Coach Manny would have none of that. He told the boys that under no circumstances were they to score any goals until the other team scores two points. Two. Points. Are you kidding me? The whole game has been on one side of the field. We could be here all day. It's a good thing the game is timed because we did everything but kick the ball in their goal ourselves. It was long and boring for our team. It's not just me saying that, Logan said it too. Landon was not able to attend the game because he was at home waiting for the cable guy to show up so that he could watch the ASU game on FSN(Go Devils)! The cable guy never showed up, but that is a whole different story. Maybe I will blog about that later. Here are a few non-action photos of the game. This is pretty much what the whole game was.....just our boys standing around. To be honest I am not sure if our team is really that good or if the other team was really that bad. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
