Gone.

Landon left for New Mexico on Friday. He was fortunate enough to have his friend, Mike, so graciously volunteer to tag along and keep him company on the long road trip. We loaded up the quads and all of Landon's necessities. Landon will be living in a hotel until Tuesday and then we will close on our house. Landon will be a bachelor, sleeping on an air mattress, until the kids and I arrive at the end of May.

We made a chain to count down the days until the movers show up to move us. This chain was made in an effort to eliminate the question of "how many days until we move?"

Almost every time I tell Tommy to go get in the car, whether we are going to school, church, store, or to run errands, he says, "Are we going to New Mexico now?" He hasn't asked this since we made the countdown chain, but the kids are constantly counting the links left on the chain.
