To all you people who read this blog (all ten of you) and know how to bake, please explain to me why my lemon cupcakes look like Peeps in a funky sort of way. I don't know what happened. I had to bake 96 cupcakes for a Girls Camp fundraiser in our ward. Some of them turned out fine and some peeped out on me. When they get tossed in the mix with the other 800 or so cupcakes I will just pretend I don't know who made those awful looking things. How embarrassing! But if any of you know where I went wrong, please enlighten me. I have never claimed to be a good cook/baker. If I had it my way in this whole thing, I would have been down at the local grocery store buying the stupid cupcakes already done.

UGLY Cupcakes

I am no cook and I have know idea why they look like that, but I think it is kinda funny, sorry they turned out like that. Oh and I think Landon is flippin hilarious with that microphone duct taped to his chin. That probably hurt coming off.
Too funny. That is what frosting is for. Just cut the side off and dump a lot of frosting on it and no one will ever know.
Don't know why they turned out, they looked cute all decorated though. That's a LOT of cupcakes!
Crazy! Why would they turn out that way? Maybe the wind in your convection oven was blowing too hard! ha ha. Cracking myself up here. j/k They sure look cute w/ the frosting!
ok that made me laugh they totally look like peeps in a funny sort of way ;) i wish i knew alot about that kinda stuff, but i would still eat them!!
